    At UK Case Management, we pride ourselves on being a friendly and supportive team based in Easingwold, North Yorkshire. We specialise in providing case management services to individuals who have suffered from brain and/or spinal injuries, and we take our responsibility to our clients seriously.

    We are seeking a confident individual to work from our Head Office in Easingwold, York. You will have a strong work ethic, working in a supportive role to the Case Managers and therapists, with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. You will provide clerical and administrative support together with liaising with solicitors, clients and their families. A professional approach is required at all times and you will have previous proven experience in the following:

    Essential criteria:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail

    • Exceptional IT skills including Microsoft 365 Platform

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality

    • Ability to maintain a professional image

    Desirable criteria:

    • Experience of working with clients with brain, spinal and complex poly trauma injuries

    • Previous use of SharePoint and Qunote systems

    • Previous use of Sage software

    • Working knowledge of the Care Quality Commission requirements and standards

    Supporting a gentleman with a severe traumatic brain injury living within his own home in the area of Sprotbrough, Doncaster.

    My client has a good sense of humour and has many interests, hobbies and goals he wishes to pursue. The role of the Support Workers is to facilitate access to his interests, ensuring he is safe and enjoying these activities. There are some personal care duties required with this role.

    Working alongside family, support workers and a team of therapists to support the client’s ongoing rehabilitation. Maintaining professional boundaries, respect, and dignity of the client at all times.

    To follow the client-specific Support Plan and company policies during your duties and undertaking training as required.

    • Ability to work the shifts required; weekdays, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in shifts

    • Awareness of risk, ability to identify areas of risk and present ideas of how to reduce that risk

    • Driving the client in their adapted vehicle

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To carry out all aspects of personal care for the client if required

    • To promote the safety of the client and act in the client’s best interests at all times

    • To undertake all mandatory and client specific training relevant to the role

    • To act as an appropriate role model at all times

    • To support the client to participate in activities in line with his interests and therapeutic goals.

    • To facilitate a supportive yet non-intrusive presence whilst working in the family home

    • To establish a positive working relationship with the client’s family

    • To be responsible for the client via the Case Manager

    • To carry out a programme of support, rehabilitation, and maintenance under the direction of the Case Manager, therapists and other professionals

    • To participate in regular reviews and receive clinical supervision as arranged by the Case Manager

    • To liaise closely with the Case Manager and other professionals

    • To attend meetings regarding the client as required

    • To travel with and accompany the client on community activities as required

    • To accompany the client on holidays and weekends away if required

    • To ensure client confidentiality in record keeping and discussions concerning the client

    • Comply with requirements/ regulations pertaining to health and safety at work

    • To adhere to infection prevention and control training

    • Carry out any other appropriate and reasonable duties required to ensure the client’s physical, emotional and psychological needs are met, as agreed with the Case Manager, client, family or rehabilitation team

    Pay & Conditions

    You will be responsible to and supervised by the Case Manager and/or Director of Services.

    You will receive a permanent contract, which includes a 6-month probationary period.

    Training and regular supervision provided.

    You will be paid via BACS credit into your bank account on a monthly calendar basis.

    Rates of pay on completion of 6 months’ probation:

    Weekdays - £14.50 per hour
    Weekends - £15.50 per hour
    Public Holidays – Double pay
    Sleep-In Shifts - £11.50 per hour
