Having been qualified as an NMC Registered Adult Nurse for 25 years, Nicola has garnered a vast array of experience across various settings, including neonatal units, schools, clinics, client’s homes, and most recently, in cancer research at the University of York.
Nicola has also worked with adult patients who have suffered brain and catastrophic injuries, as well as infants who have sustained birth injuries. Additionally, she obtained a BSc in Nursing Practice and Public Health following her initial qualification. Nicola has contributed to published works on the subject of recovery and rehabilitation from brain injury, and in her spare time she volunteers for the Headway charity, supporting people who are recovering from brain injuries.
Nicola is a proud Member of the British Association of Brain Injury and Complex Case Management (BABICM).
