UK Case Management are in the process of applying for CQC registration.
This has been delayed due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
We currently practice to the standards and requirements of CQC.
The CQC website states:
‘Any person (individual, partnership or organisation) who provides regulated activity in England must be registered with us otherwise they commit an offence.’
There are a range of regulated activities which may be relevant to case management provision. However, the most pertinent one for Case Managers is the provision of personal care and/or the treatment of disease, disorder or injury. Following an enquiry made by BABICM to CQC with regards to the need for Case Managers to be registered with CQC or not, it has now been confirmed that all Case Managers will be required to register.
