We’re experts at managing complex care packages

At UK Case Management, we understand the challenges faced by our clients and their families after a catastrophic injury. That's why we have built a team of highly motivated and experienced Case Managers, supported by dedicated administrative personnel, who are committed to providing the best possible support.
Collaboration is at the heart of our approach. We work closely with families, Solicitors, Financial Deputies, Trustees, multidisciplinary teams, and other professionals to offer comprehensive, bespoke packages of care and case management services. We understand each client has unique and sometimes complex needs, so we customise our services accordingly.
Our reputation for excellence is well-known among Solicitors, who trust us to support their clients in the best possible way. We are committed to making a real difference in our client's lives and helping them make the most of their futures.

Our case management services include:

Initial Needs Assessments (INA) and reports

We provide Immediate Needs Assessments (INA) shortly after an individual experiences a serious injury or illness. As experienced Case Managers, we carry out these assessments to identify the immediate support and rehabilitation needs that will best promote recovery, independence, and quality of life.

INAs are typically commissioned by solicitors or insurers involved in personal injury or clinical negligence claims. They play a vital role in both the rehabilitation and litigation process. Our goal during the assessment is to ensure that the right services and interventions are identified and prioritised according to the individual's unique needs and circumstances.

Costed case management and support package estimates

We provide detailed, costed case management and support package estimates to assist clients in planning for their ongoing and future needs. These estimates are frequently requested by solicitors to support effective financial planning both during the litigation process and following settlement. They play a crucial role in ensuring that allocated funds are appropriate, sustainable, and aligned with the individual's long-term care and support requirements.

Deferred payments

We are proud to be working closely with medico-legal organisations enabling us to provide INA's and case management utilising flexible / deferred payment options to speed up the rehabilitation process for the client. Please contact Suzanne Froggett for further information.

Support to access NHS and/or statutory services

We assist clients in accessing NHS and statutory services where appropriate, helping them navigate what can often be a complex and challenging system. Our role is to identify suitable resources and facilitate access, ensuring individuals receive the support they are entitled to in a timely and effective manner.

Support to liaise with your employer or school / college / university

Following life-changing injuries, returning to everyday activities can be challenging, including aspects of life that are often overlooked. Questions may arise such as: Can I return to work? How will I get to school? Is taking a gap year to support my recovery a viable option? We provide guidance and support to help individuals explore these concerns and make informed decisions, working collaboratively to negotiate and achieve positive, practical outcomes that align with their goals and recovery journey.

Support to obtain Educational Health Care Plans

We offer support and guidance in obtaining Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) for individuals with additional needs affecting their access to education. Our service includes providing the necessary information, gathering supporting evidence, and coordinating input from relevant experts to ensure a comprehensive application. Our goal is to help secure the appropriate educational support and provisions needed for the best possible outcome.

Implementation and co-ordination of a therapy programme

We provide comprehensive implementation and coordination of tailored therapy programmes, recognising that each individual’s needs and circumstances are unique. Our role involves identifying and engaging the most appropriate therapists, including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, Rehabilitation Assistants, and others, to support the client’s recovery and maximise their potential.

We ensure that all recommended therapies are introduced in a structured, timely, and manageable way, avoiding overwhelming clients, while promoting consistent progress toward agreed rehabilitation goals. Our focus is on delivering a cohesive, well-managed approach that enhances outcomes and supports long-term well-being.

Support when attending medico-legal meetings

We provide dedicated support to clients attending medico-legal appointments, ensuring they are well prepared and fully informed throughout the process. Our role includes helping clients understand complex medical and legal terminology, facilitating access to appointments, and offering guidance at each stage of the medico-legal journey. This support ensures that clients feel confident, reassured, and actively engaged in their own case.

Support with sourcing suitable accommodation

We assist clients in sourcing suitable temporary and permanent accommodation that aligns with their specific needs and circumstances. Our support includes identifying appropriate housing options, ensuring accessibility and safety requirements are met, and coordinating any necessary adaptations. The goal is to provide clients with a living environment that promotes comfort, independence, and overall well-being.

Help to organise specialist equipment or housing adaptations

We provide expert support in organising specialist equipment and housing adaptations tailored to each client’s individual needs. This includes assessing requirements, sourcing appropriate equipment, and coordinating modifications to ensure the living environment is safe, accessible, and conducive to independence and rehabilitation. Our goal is to enhance quality of life by facilitating timely access to the right resources and solutions.

Assistance to recruit and manage support workers/buddy's/personal assistants

We offer comprehensive support in the recruitment and management of Support Workers, buddies, and Personal Assistants. Whether the arrangement involves direct employment, agency staff, or a hybrid model, we bring the expertise required to navigate the complexities of staffing and employment.

Our service includes handling recruitment processes, ensuring all personnel are fully DBS-checked, appropriately referenced, and equipped with the necessary training to meet the client’s specific needs. We aim to build a reliable, skilled support team that promotes safety, consistency, and high-quality care.

Payroll and HR support

We provide payroll and HR support for clients employing staff directly, ensuring all employment processes are handled efficiently and in full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Our service includes managing payroll, contracts, employee records, and providing guidance on HR matters to support a smooth and professional employment experience for both clients and their staff.

Support to plan a holiday

We offer tailored support to help clients plan and organise holidays that meet their personal preferences and accessibility needs. Drawing on our experience and expertise, we ensure that every aspect of the trip—from travel arrangements to accommodation and on-site support—is carefully considered and coordinated. We have successfully assisted clients in travelling to a wide range of destinations worldwide, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and fulfilling holiday experience.
